We human being are doom in darkness

We are doom by the delusions (attachment, hatred and ignorance) that we hold so firmly and friendly. We consider it has more likely A GOD but in realistic it’s DEMON, come to sabotage us.  There is a well known saying in Tibetan “demon won’t come with frightening image but will come as your friend and lead you toward darkness, a darkness where you suffer and suffer” that’s exactly what happening to us in this fucking 21^st century. We believe that we are developing and reached beyond our imagination, it’s true from one side of the wall!!! We did extraordinary and build rocket and jet, we connect each other through technology, in a nutshell we make this world damn small that we can visit it in day.

But where is our sense of humanity? We lost it somewhere deep down the deepest ocean or the highest mountain that we never conquer of. Where is the quality of human being? We use to say that we human being are the smartest and most intelligent in this world but how can we let this shit happen? Now we are leaving in terror, where father buried son’s corpse.

I appreciate that technology make our life EASIER but do we really deserve this? Killing the innocent animals and making them homeless. We built big factories and destroy the serene and peaceful environment that once we had. Pollute the water and make homeless for those thousands fishes, birds, insects and now its destroying us. We can’t drink the water from tap directly why? Because we put shit on it. We suffer from climate changes, natural disasters more than it used to be… like volcano erupting, landslide, storm, and flood and so on. Why?  Because we make imbalance between our desire and environment… We are fucked up now.

Because of the so called modern technology, people kill each other for small argument or for fun, because that particular monster is inspire from some bullshit movies and other modern technology. Every day life, we see negative much more then positive. When you switch on your television, it will say “hundreds of people killed in train accident” “a son murdered his own father for property” or something else that is irritating to our ear.

We say proudly that we develop but in which way Are we develop? Our live has become shorter while our desire and attachment grew bigger and bigger. We become friend with wildling like anger, attachment, ignorant. Are you saying this development? In Buddhism, it says that “we human being are degenerating our sense of humanity day by day” it’s true.

Our greed expends day by day and we suffer and suffer. Although slavery system is no longer exist but honestly speaking it does. We are all slaves of delusion such as attachment, hatred and ignorance. We suffer every moment of our life because of this. Although we human being practice different religion, some goes to church, mosque, temple, monastery and somewhere else for merry.  Every religion has different philosophy but the core advice is love and compassion. Now where the hell is that? What is the meaning of worshipping when we no longer practice our religion? Instead of practicing, we fight in the name of our religion with our brothers and sisters. Is this what we calling ourselves “most intelligent” animals in this planet?

Mother

Mothers are not just a one to give life to new one or to serve their husband faithfully. They are the key source of our future society, nation and the whole universe. Their powerful influence give shape to our environment, whether a merry or darkness. Mother plays a large role in…. who we are today and what we do in future. Their hand lies the very future of our nation.

No matter how bad her day could be, she is always ready to listen to her child’s nonsense and complain. And ready to rectify her child wrong view or preception or action. That’s how she shapes her child, correcting each misdeed and escorts us in the right direction.

 Whenever something becomes too much for us, she is always there calming us down, giving us a warm hug and comfort us saying “IT’S GONNA BE ALRIGHT. MAMA IS HERE”. She is always calm and peaceful even we are barking her like dog but instead of shouting back…she give us magical smile which take victory over anger, vexation or exasperation. She love us unconditionally, even we break her heart into hundren pieces as her child is always especial to her and will always love.

If mother taught negativity since childhood obviousy we will be characterless and dangerous to the society. Although it also depend on individual as the way we think and way we see the world or might be influence by bad company but at nutshell its lack of love and care from mother. In our society, the children who do not get love and care from mother are more disobedient, naughty, wayward, wicked, awkard rather then one who is loved by mother.

Just like a potter, mothers moulded and shape their child to fit in society of peace and harmony. Children are like seed without resources like water etc; we won’t be able to see the fresh green shoot coming out so beautifully. In our eyes, we only see them caring their own child but indirectly they care about our society and nation. Every mother desire their child be good and have happy life ahead, for that they encourage and guide in the right path so that we don’t face misery in our upcoming life.

But unfortunately male treated woman badly.  Why? All these unbearable domination has to take?  How male became god and women became devil? Even thou women have same five sense organse as male does, its not that women circulate black blood while male circulate red blood, male have two lunch, one heart, two hand, two legs so does women have. Then why women became victim for domination?

Women are one who turn house into warm and beautiful home. They are the one who wake up early and serve breakfast and make everything ready for the next step like ironing the shirt and trousers, polishing the black shoes etc. Even after school hours, she washes dirty clothes and does the house chore till late night. If her child is at thirst and hungry, she provide food and while in winter, she provide thick and warm clothes. When her child gets sick, emotionally mothers are sick as well.

I believe in god but not in that imaginary drawing or idols, the one who support us in very critical situation, escort us, teach us the art of love, care, kindness and so on. The one who is always standing behind us, encourging us to touch our destination, help us to solve the puzzle of life and society. The one who gives us this wonderful life. Thank you mother. You are god, an angel, priest, teacher and best friend.

Let us arise to protect this fragile flame of life, that it continues burning brightly for mankind.  Let us therefore resolve to keep the mothers safe from the ills of life that she goes on, to perform her noble role and make the world a better place by her nobility and grace.

A Key to Happiness.

Are you afraid of your life or future? If so, just chill out and be free from your anxiety which makes you suffer. Only reading this article doesn’t give you happiness but you have to practice only two things in your life nothing more. I grantee, you will be happy forever. Well I am not going to explain or convince you through some vast philosophy or theory to have a good life as well as good future. Although my philosophy is not something untold in this universe, I will explain through my own experience. Beside I am not alien to give you knowledge out of this universe, I am just a simple student so, I request you to kick your expectation. Because which will arise your anger; I don’t want to inflame your smiley mood into enrage or angered. Never expect much from someone else. It doesn’t matter, whether he or she is your dear or family, whatever they are; just don’t expect much. Well, let me tell you one incident

I had a friend from Sikkim and honestly I am fond of him. We had so many up and down situation but we always settled the dust quickly. So, couples of years back, I went to Sikkim expecting big thing from him. After reaching Sikkim, nothing happened as I expected from him, which hurt me a lot and his face became source of misery and anger. Each day passed with burden, a burden cause by expectation, I start building a wall and honestly I treated him badly and for that I felt he deserved (at that time) but now I regretted my silly action. This is because of my expectation, which ruin my whole trip to magnificent Sikkim and honestly I really don’t remember where I visited at all because I was doomed by anger and so forth. 

Peace and happiness is related to the quality of your mind; so we need to learn how to keep the mind in one’s control. For controlling the mind, first we should know its discordant factors and the causes that always make the mind disturbed which ultimately give rise to disturb and suffering. 

In everyday life, we desire to have something it doesn’t matter whether it is big or small… with having desire, we take action to achieve by any means or cost. We suffer physically, mentally and emotionally when in the process.

Last year I was craving for iphone, to fulfill my desire, I lied with intension to deceive, deceit, artifice, cheat, play fraud with my relatives. Just for that iphone, I break their trust. Later they knew about my secret story and I was scolded badly. Since that day, they keep telling me about iphone that I was tire of hearing. I get 30% happiness from iphone but remaining 70% are anxious, greed, desire, lust, conflict, trouble and other source of sorrow or suffering. I am not arguing not to buy iphone or other gadget but all I mean is….be content with what you have. Be satisfied, pleased and content with what you got. 

Beside contemplate yourself why you need it… Well as far as my experience, it’s just a fashion. The more expensive gadget I had, the more problem I had. Just to make a small part, it cost big money and you have to figure out the expense. Right now I am using the cheapest cell phone (mobile), neither I have tension of losing it nor damage because I can easily replace it beside it does make a call as same as other does. 

Desire and expectation can apply in a positive sense, it is very useful and gives us courage and strength to success but in negativity it’s just a source of unhappiness. Expectation and desire goes hand in hand like the two side of coin. You might fail after several attempted but don’t lose your heart, keep continue your practice. As a saying “practice makes man perfect” You can control it sooner or later. It’s like training your dog, at first your dog won’t understand your language but with time it will. After that you can have fun, happiness with your dog.

Every sentient being equally desire happiness whether temporally or permanently, wishes not to experience even a slightest suffering. Despite that all run after disharmony and troubles out of ignorance.  Liberation (moksa or nirvana) is the final destination for Buddhism but as far as my concerned, liberation is far far away realm for us to be free from this ocean of suffering. So, just handle your negativity expectation and desire. It’s like doorway to the happiness in your entire life.

Well, in my next article…I am going to write about WHEEL OF LIFE or SRID PA KHOR LO (in Tibetan). It describe the twelve links as everything in this world is interdependent to each other, from great king of country to the poorest citizen has to depend to each other. How we suffer and why we keep suffering in this beautiful world…the answer will in my next article. Have a good day……..

Ladhak is truly incredible

Ladhak is also known as ‘’little Tibet’’ as it lies across the Himalayan and situation on the Tibetan plateau plus the clear Tibetan influence in the Ladakhi’s customs, religion and so on.  Ladhak is also known as ‘’the last Shangri La’’ or ‘’the moonland’’. Ladhak was given moonland because of its similarity with moon, a barren, grey-brown landscape, utterly devoid of vegetation but these days without any problem you can find green everywhere. Plantation has been done every space they could fine, that’s why you have put Ladhak in genius world record by planting in such altitude.

“Until the 10^th century Ladhak was regarded as a province of Tibet, where Buddhism was the dominant religion. With the collapse of the Tibetan empire the border regions became independent kingdoms under local rulers. At the time Ladhak was conquered by Palgyi-Gon, who came from the Tibetan royal family” mention by Margret and Rolf Schettler.

Leh

Geographically Ladhak is similar to  Mustang (Nepal), crystal sky, sandy hills, hot sun, cold wind and so on….But what makes me so especial about Ladhak is…not that damn advance technology but the rich pilgrimage site and magnificent historical palaces. The palaces were built on the higher ground and the monasteries were built in the remote as it has to be. Monasteries or gompa, the exact meaning of gompa is wilderness area or away from town or village.  

When I reached Leh (the capital of ladhak) I feel nothing especial….I thought I am at city….that’s all …nothing more, even thou geographically and environmentally I am standing at the last Shangri La…It’s not like, Ladhak is dirty and stinky. It’s unfair to judge according to my taste. I was holding too big expectation that’s why I feel nothing special about Leh.  Leh has transform like other modern city. 

When I visited the villages like Hemis, Stok…I feel completely different and my heart keeping arguing me “why don’t you choose to spend time here rather than at damn Leh” the more, I spend the more I desire to hold it. The sound of flowing mountain water, the birds singing and the peace environment have provide me so much relax and joyous. I saw the field blossoming with yellow flower and the dark green leaves dance happily with the cool mountain breeze and the melody of bird singing.

Ladhak is such a magical place that, the more you visit the more you desire…the pleasure, joyous, excitement, eagerness never fade away even you visit the same place twice or thrice….there is always something marvelous about the local people and their generously and kindness. The structure and the lifestyle of local people teach us certain knowledge….like being satisfied with what one have or had, they give happiness as first priority rather than damn shit money, honesty, meaning of simple life and so on. I don’t think, whether my statement makes sense or not but I am sure, it makes sense to those who have had visited incredible Ladhak.

If you have problem with altitude then you better choose to stay rather than going there for trouble….Leh stands at an altitude of 11,500 ft above sea level and you might get trouble with latitude sickness. I heard lot of old and young people getting problem with the breathing.

June to September is the best duration to trek or visit as in early June, snow still sparking like a diamond and chill wind make you shiver. By start of july, you can manage with summer clothes as well…but most importantly you need sun cream, hat and sunglass. The higher you are the brighter the sun is.

Your intention is…..what matter the most…..good and bad are like two sides of coin.  Always goes side by side. While some peoples love your work and might admire you but there are some, who dislike your work they rather choose to blame you. But you have to carry on or step forward. You can’t just hold your work because some peoples blame you. If so, you are foolish…. a damn foolish. There is a saying in English “peoples might know your name but they don’t know your story” They have no idea, for what purpose you are doing such task. What you dealing with…. they see only your work not your intention and hard work. You know as you are the first person and your have reason behind it. So, I think it’s better to ignore their mouths and carry your own work.

Let me tell you something…. I am a student and while in holiday I opened a restaurant with my friends for my pocket money… because I can’t depend all the time for my dear mama for my pocket money.  I want to stand my own… want to earn my own… want to experience different thing while in college time. But at the same year, because of some health problem, I was unable to appear in exam, which mean I was fail. Where were different rumor about me… some said “of cause he fail because he spend his time in restaurant rather than studying” some said “ he is not a student, he is businessman” some said “he choose to fail” Well honestly I had permission only for a month, not for damn whole year to run it. Everybody knows that it was run by our school staff and given opportunity for me to earn some pocket money while in holiday. Even thou they make so damn hard rumor which really touch my heart but honestly I didn’t cry and quitted my class. Instead as usual I attend class and concentrate and do my best. If I stopped attending class, the problem will became bigger and bigger instead of peace. Quitting and becoming weak is not a solution but it’s a cause of becoming worst of worst. 

I know it hard to deal with solution once we were in worst circumstance but what good lie ahead even if you carry on your so called suffering? It just let you down and ruins your whole day. Am I right? I know I too had gone through such circumstance several time in my life. But these day I am trying not to fall for it…. I try to fight with it however weak I might be. Fight for it and conquer your arrogance, ignorance and so called negative character in you. I am sure you will be happy forever.

Big Bisk As Well As Let Say Big Fish to Open a Restaurant.

I never ever imagine about opening a restaurant in my life especially before I graduate as anything can happen in life…who knows!!! It’s unpredictable. But it happened or shall I say “I did it”… Well recently I open with my very close friend. You might be wondering “what so especial about running a restaurant” well, honestly it might be cup of tea for you but…it’s more than that to me. 

Every years, in summer vocation, I do part time job like teaching, correcting script, input work, small translation and so on…that’s how I manage my pocket money but this time…its big risk as well as let say big fish as well. Its holiday time, so most students rush toward their home sweet home as they were eagerly waiting for such day to come. Which means not totally busy in restaurant as less customers are available. But I am pretty happy with what we get as our budget was not big amount. 

Well, whatever their intention might be… I had two reasons to spend my holiday in such sunny, hot place, first I want to complete my short translation and secondly to collect some pocket money by doing some job. So, that I can visit to my destination Ladhak also known as Tibet.  Travelling is always in my blood and spending time in new environment, tasting new foods, exchanging conversation with local resident….these makes me happy…a real happy. Not that damn gadget as usually these day people love gadget like Iphone, tablet and so on…well, I am not arguing them to stop as each person their own taste of life beside I don’t have right to stop them. But what I would like to say is…..Don’t depend to them.

I know technology is good as it makes us easier to do anything….but at the same time, it’s a virus to our brain, which malfunction and fight against with our energy- imaginative, creativity and so forth. Because of different gadget, we prefer to rely on them rather than doing own. Which makes our brain to stop to think, to imagine, to judge etc.

Let back to restaurant, while in restaurant, my eyes sight is always at one direction… “Door”….ha!!!ha!!!ha!!! smile emerge seeing a customer but get bore and feel empty when no one show up. I always thought restaurant work is easy and will get enough time for own work, but I was wrong. it’s a rush off one’s feet place as you can’t predict when costumer will come.

P.S- the happiness depend on customer rather than own mind and heart.

Preparing food

As always I learn something new…this time I am looking forward to became a good cook!!!  Don’t think that I can’t cook, I do but not perfect as girls does. As they make yummy foods…as water start emerging from mouth ………When I am in home, I prepared food for ma dear mama as she came with exhausted as she has to run small business. 

Ma dear mama use to tell me “Work is work, no matter what it might be…as far as you love your job, you are happy with your job. That is the greatest job in the world”

I would say “students should involved and experience everything before they graduate”
