You guys might be well aware about Tibetan Children Village
(TCV) and the condition about the students over there. If I mention in briefly,
most of the students escaped from Tibet seeking for better environment and education under the guidance of His Holiness the 14th
Dalai Lama.
They managed to walked
thousand of kilometers through the Himalayan especially in winter season so
that, they could able to passed the boarder hoping for less hazard from Chinese
army. The hazard journey took at- least a month to reached the Nepalese boarder.
When they reach boarder they hide in the day time and crossed in the night.
Escaping isn't easy, they have to arranged huge amount of money as well as
looked for good, courageous and talented guides. Searching for good guider is
not easy as searching for traveler agency in Kathmandu or Pokhar valley. They
have to be very careful because if the Chinese knows the situation then prison
is the only way for them. Putting in gaol means not easy, neither they get food
to eat nor there is mat to sleep on. I know the conditions of Nepalese cell
because I spend twenty days in Boudha jail, I get everything as I wish. But its
totally opposite and beside this, they use various electric instrument for the
punishment.
In the jeopardy journey they faces lots of risk like hunger,
coldness, frostbite, snow blindness, hypothermia and so on. You might be well aware that most
the them were children. Its means they left everything behind, from their
beloved family to their homeland. For the sake of better education and freedom.
After
arriving to India they joined Tibetan Children Village (TCV) of Dharmasala, Suja (Bir),Mussoorie
and so on. There are many students who never been to winter vocation because either
they have parents nor any relatives to
spend their winter vocation. For the sake of their happiness, there is a
non-profit organization called TCV Alumni Association (TCVAA) in Kathmandu.
They are carrying a project called FEEL AT HOME, they selected around 14
students who never been to winter holiday since they joined TCV. For their happiness, they bring them to Kathmandu and visited various Pilgrim sites and other beautiful places like
Pokhar. They return back to India after winter vocation with little pocket
money and some new clothes just like the other students.
FEEL AT HOME – project is to provide:
* An experience of being at home during the school winter vocation.
*Students will be touring various pilgrims sites, sightseeing and shopping etc.
*Educate them in various fields such as traveling, meeting different peoples, seeking different places and culture.
*Providing them parents love and care from their foster parents during their winter vocation.
while in Bodhgaya, i was little busy with my own charity project work and thankfully it was successful. The credit goes especially to Varanasi students, who support my project so kindly. Thank you very much and hope for the same response next time.
While on my way to see off my friends, i met TCVAA. They are selling calenders,t-shirt and so on for the run raising. They told me that they are unable to organize such fund raising programs in Nepal due to the country's political pressure. So what i am going to request you, my beloved friends is that,"please donate a coin a day/week for the sake of their happiness". I really hope you guys will contribute your helping hands for their happiness and bring future.
Thank you...
